Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips

Thanksgiving is a time for family and togetherness. While us humans are getting together and feasting, it’s easy to overlook the stresses family gatherings put on our pets.

What to do with your pet during the holiday?

Pet Cancer Awareness Month

November marks Veterinary Pet Insurance’s annual Pet Cancer Awareness Month, started in 2005 to raise awareness and funds for pet cancer research and treatments.

While May is also popularly known as Pet Cancer Awareness Month, we always find it a good opportunity to spread pet cancer awareness on a national scale.

Thank You From Charlie!

From Karen Seitz:

Charlie and I would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind donation. We are so so grateful for the generous gesture. Without chemo, the vet said he had 3-4 weeks to live.

In Memory of Our Beloved Friend Ben

I’m so sad to share that we lost our dear and handsome man Ben on Tuesday. During his 14 years, he bravely battled cancer twice as well as an amputation. Ben became an angel this week, surrounded by his loving family who worked so hard to give him a fighting chance. He and his family inspired us with their courage and determination. If love could have saved you Ben, you would have lived forever. We will miss you.

Nixin & Champ-A Story Of Two Dogs With Cancer and How One’s Memory Will Give Hope To The Other.

We are delighted to announce that Nixin Einson will receive a grant to fund his cancer care, from The Riedel & Cody Fund in Memory of Champ Broder.  This is a direct result of a successful fundraiser held recently in honor of Champ.

Give the gift of hope this holiday season

This holiday season honor your friends and relatives by making a gift that will give hope to a family whose pet has cancer. For your donation, we will mail the recipient a card to acknowledge your thoughtful gift. If you choose, designate a sponsored pet from our website and follow their progress. We are grateful for our community -- Your support allows us to continue helping dogs & cats in need!
