Could use some advice
I could use some advice if anyone has any to offer.
Sabra has a particularly aggresive cancer. She underwent surgery and radiation which helped for about 3 months. Recently we started chemo but due to the drug reaction of lowering white blood cells and a persistent urinary tract infection she almost died from that treatment. As of right now she cant even hold herself up I have to carry her.
If I dont continue chemo the cancer will take over pretty quickly. If I try another chemo treatment it may land her back in the hospital or even worse cause her to die from the side effects.
I dont know what to do...

I am so sorry that Sabra is
I am so sorry that Sabra is not doing well. You are facing such a difficult decision. I think that you have to always do what you feel is right for Sabra. Only you know whether she is suffering too much, or whether her quality of life is not there. You should definitely take advice from Sabra's oncologist. You can also seek out a homeopathic vet to see if there is any palliative natural treatment that will make Sabra feel better.
Kerry Malak recently wrote a blog about the decision to end treatment. I think this will be helpful for you to read. I did ask Kerry to comment on your blog as well.
In the end, only you know what is best for Sabra. Whatever you decide, you Sabra knows how much you love her and she is clearly lucky to have such a loving and caring person in her life.
All the best,
Mark
